Having worked on many prior projects, the birth of SLIxMW was only an inevitable collaboration.  Designed by Stacey Leong Interiors and built by Martlewood & her team, the Astrid Dining Table adds a touch of geometry to an otherwise simple capsule-shaped dining table.

Wanting to accentuate the 50mm thickness of the solid oak tabletop, a bullnose profile was used to soften the look without losing the bulk.  Using 8 faces, Astrid’s bases are sturdy while a tad quirky, juxtaposing the perfect symmetry of the circle on top.  With an enduring aesthetic in view, Astrid is available in 2 easy to match stains or greige and milk.

Finished with Bona’s HD traffic sealer, families with young children, like Stacey herself, do not have to take extra uptight precautions to maintain the solid wood dining table.  Bona HD traffic sealer is typically used for hardwood flooring in commercial spaces which gives you an assurance that you don’t have to fret over spilled food and drinks.
