Garden Table on Tatler Homes

The Garden Table was designed by Colin Seah from Ministry of Design in collaboration with Cosentino and executed by yours truly.

We were first approached by Cosentino in Q4 2021 to execute the construction of the Garden Table exploring local timber sources and bending metal into organic shapes while delicately balanced with their newly launch Kraftizen Dekton collection.  

It was important that the table’s stability was not overly compromised since it was a  3-legged design.  The second major challenge was achieving the 5mm chamfered thickness which proved to be a 2-day-all-day-chamfering no-kick task with our trusted fabricator.  We were coordinating with several factories as one-go to make sure, wood, steel, and stone factory understood the main objective.

The execution was caught up in the peak of COVID and there were a few setbacks we had to deal with but nothing overwhelming that we could not solve. Teamwork makes the dream work!
